Volunteer Awards

Congratulations to Sensei Dave Shipton who, after another highly successful year for Gen'Dai Martial Arts, was nominated for the Cheshire & Warrington Sports Partnership Volunteer of the Year Award 2008.

Friday 28th November saw the 7th Annual Cheshire & Warrington Sports Partnerships Awards Evening take place at the Park Royal Hotel in Warrington.

The Event was attended by 250 people from across the Partnership, and was compered by former Olympian Steve Parry and medals were presented by another former Olympian – Mark Richardson (silver medallist in 1996).

The event was a hugh success which saw worthy representatives from all over the region pick up awards in various categories. Sensei Shipton picked up the Warrington Borough winners award and feels honoured to have been chosen as the representative for Warrington. It's great to see that all the time and effort Sensei puts into the club is being recognised.
